ABOUT THE GBBSA AND SCORING IN THE UK

The GBBSA: The Great Britain Baseball Scorers Association (GBBSA) is the official national scoring body recognized by the British Baseball Federation. Clive Maude oversees scoring activities for northern and Scottish teams and Joe Gray fills the same role for southern teams.
Scoring system: While it is ultimately up to each individual scorer to choose which scoring method he or she will use, the GBBSA strongly recommends the use of the system described in the International Baseball Federation scoring manual.
How to register: To receive more details on the International Baseball Federation scoring system or to register with the association, send an email to the address at the top of this page. Registered scorers will receive emails with scoring advice and important details such as insurance cover. In addition, registered scorers will be given access to an online British baseball scoring forum.

SCORESHEETS

Confederation of European Baseball scoresheet

This A3 scoresheet is designed for use with the scoring system detailed in the International Baseball Federation scoring manual.

Seven-inning A4 scoresheet

Scoresheet: This A4 scoresheet is suitable for seven-inning games, which are a feature of the National League. Like the scoresheet above, this design is intended for use with the International Baseball Federation system. Unlike the scoresheet above, however, it includes a set of boxes at the bottom of the column for each inning to record pitch counts, as well as spaces to keep track of balls and strikes during each plate appearance. Another way in which it differs from the Confederation of European Baseball scoresheet is by providing gaps for the lines to mark player substitutions, so that these can be made more visible.
Game sheet and stats sheet: The scoresheet should be used in combination with a game sheet, and a stats sheet has also been designed. All three are available to download below.
