Year-by-year historyUpdated 28 August 2010Lore has it that a three-way baseball tournament took place between England, Italy, and Morocco in 1904, but no corroborating documentation has yet been found, so the official national team history begins with a game described in the 9 July 1907 edition of the Evening Standard between "English-born" and "American-born" players and runs all the way through to the 2010 European Championship A-Pool. While minor updates are made throughout the year, each new year will be added in full during the off-season.To read more, download the full history as a PDF through the link below. This is a living document, so check back from time to time for updates. Picture credits are given where known. If you need to print out the document, please contact the Great Britain Baseball Scorers Association using the email address given to the right of the menu bar at the top of this page. Please note that the PDF is large (approximately 5 megabytes), so you may need to be patient while it downloads.
